The ideal Beloit College visit experience. Join us at an Open House for a full day engaging with the entire Beloit community.

You’ll explore campus including unique facilities like our Museums, Powerhouse, and Center for Entrepreneurship. You’ll meet faculty and staff and learn about everything from athletics to career services to study abroad. Most importantly, you’ll get to know current students who’ve come from around the world to explore their passions and to launch meaningful careers and lives.

Same-Day Admissions Decision

You can receive a same-day admissions decision at the conclusion of your visit using end-of-year junior grades.

Autumn is beautiful in Wisconsin and is arguably the best time to tour campus.

We know this is the highlight of your visit, and it should be. All our tours are student-led with 1-3 families per tour guide. You can expect to see the major campus buildings and a student residence hall and have ample opportunity for one-on-one conversation and questions.

An informal Beloit College “fair” where you’ll have the opportunity to walk around and meet representatives from Beloit’s Schools, academic departments, varsity and intramural sports teams, student clubs and organizations, and more.

Traveling to Beloit

Beloit, Wisconsin is an easy drive from nearby cities Madison and Milwaukee, WI and Chicago, IL. For those flying to the region, there is a bus route that connects the Beloit area with the Chicago O’Hare International Airport.

Additional information is available about getting to campus by car, plane, bus, and train as well as on local accommodations.

What to expect during your visit

  • The visit experience at Beloit, like the student experience, is personal and individualized; come prepared to engage! We’ll want to hear about your passions and experiences, and we hope you’ll have lots of questions for us.
  • The typical visit experience lasts about two hours and can extend to include much of the day. If you have specific time constraints, please let us know in your visit request.
  • Much of your tour will be outside, and Wisconsin weather can be unpredictable. Please wear appropriate clothing and be prepared for changing and inclement weather.
  • At Beloit we believe that self care is community care, and your health and safety is important to us. We support and respect you taking any steps you need to feel safe during your visit, and we ask that you please reschedule if you or a member of your party becomes ill.
